#7 BOBCATS OFFENSIVE STRIKE TOO MUCH FOR BUCS

MIAMI SHORES, Fla. (September 2, 2021) – The St. Thomas University (STU) Men's Soccer team (3-0-0) defeated the Buccaneers of Barry University from Buccaneer ­­Field on Thursday night, 4-0.

  • Barry was close to a goal in the 59th minute to cut the deficit to one but was recalled due to an offsides by the Bucs.
  • Cisterna would get this second goal of the game in the 72nd minute striking it right past the keeper on a cross from Federico Zanna.
  • Arzeno called game with the final dagger with three-seconds on the clock.

St. Thomas will travel to Fort Lauderdale, Fla. to take on another NCAA Division II school in the Sunshine Conference, Nova Southeastern University. Kickoff is set for 7 p.m. on Tuesday, September 7th.
