MIAMI GARDENS, Fla. (October 15, 2022) – No. 7 St. Thomas University Men's Soccer (6-0-3, 3-0-2 SUN) picked up a much needed three points in Sun Conference action on Saturday afternoon from AutoNation Field. The Bobcats defeated Webber International University (7-1-1, 2-1-1 SUN), giving the Warriors their first loss of the season.

- Franco Acerbi was the starting goalkeeper for the Bobcats picking up his first shutout since the beginning of October.
- The Bobcats had full control of the game, getting back into the rhythm of controlling their offense possessions and attacks.
- Guido Cacciabue got the scoring going towards the end of the first half getting a cross in from Facundo Cisterna and striking a tough left foot into the net for his team leading sixth goal of the season.
- St. Thomas defense was able to keep Webber International without a shot in the first half really limiting the offense threat.
- Fernando Arzeno was able to get back into the scoring world with a beautiful top left corner goal off the front of his foot as Cacciabue placed a perfect cross into the box for the forward.
- Facundo Cisterna was able to put the final dagger on the scoreboard using a cross on the front post from Benjamin Stein and redirecting it to the back side.
- St. Thomas sits in second place on the Sun Conference standings.
- This is the 10th straight win for the Bobcats over the Warriors, dating back to 2014.
