- St. Thomas got on the board first in game one as a heads up hustle play by
Deavyn McDade extended the inning and scored a run for the Bobcats.
- The Bobcats took a 2-0 lead in the bottom of the third and held a two-run gap for most of the game.
- Ave Maria came back in the last inning scoring three to take their first lead of the game and force the Bobcat bats to come alive once again.
- Game two was all Ave Maria as the Gyrenes as they scored two in the third and fifth.
- St. Thomas was able to scratch for a run in the top of the sixth to not leave the board blank.
- Game three had a different energy from the jump from the STU dugout.
- The Gyrenes scored first in the top of the third, but STU quickly struck back with two runs in the bottom half.
- McDade served up a double to left center to score
Sophia Negron, while
Marla Lavado delivered a double of her own to left center to score Bautista.
- Lavado came through once again in the bottom of the fifth with another double, this time to right center that scored McDade from first.

Erica Winter led the pitching staff with seven strikeouts each.
- Smith carried a one-hitter up into the seventh inning of game three.
- Ave Maria rallied back again with a five-run seventh to take the ballgame 6-4 and sweep the series.
