The entire National team intends to return next year, with only one senior graduating (Women's Captain Alex Perez). The program went from seven men and two women in January 2021 to a National contending program in less than 12 months.
Coach Asadi on the conclusion of Year 1 and the team's performance at the National Championship:
"I am proud. Not because of the All-American honors, our National Champion, or the other accolades, but of the culture we are building here at St. Thomas. We have come a very long way since I took over this program in January 2021. I told the team in our first meeting last August that this was going to be a learning experience for all of us. To our National Team, you have represented our program with the pride and professionalism that we will be known for across the NAIA. Thank you for a great first year, and I look forward to what we will do in Year 2."
