KANSAS CITY, Mo. (May 2, 2022) – The National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA) office announced the nine host locations for the 2022 Baseball Opening Round. Paul Demie Mainieri Field will host the Miami Gardens Bracket for the second time in program history, the last time being in 2019.

Lewis and Clarke State College in Lewiston, Idaho was given the automatic host as the site for the Avista-NAIA World Series. Here are the official ten sites that will host:

This gives St. Thomas an automatic berth to the national tournament. The teams that will join the Bobcats will be released on Thursday, May 12 at 5 p.m. eastern time. Opening Round play is set to begin on Monday, May 16 with the winner of the bracket moving on to the Avista-NAIA World Series at Harris Field.
