MIAMI GARDENS, Fla. (August 23, 2022) - The receiving votes St. Thomas University (STU) Women's Soccer team fell to Eastern Oregon 1-0 in their second game of the season. It was a hard fought game on both ends where the first and only goal would seal the game for the Mountaineers.

• Amelia Rygh had a solid first game stopping all but one of the shots she faced.
• Possession saw a fair amount on each. side of the midfield.
• With only one shot in the first half the Bobcats bounced back in the second half and tallied five shots
• Sarolta Oppelland had a solid game keeping the Mountaineers offense limited and had a near goal in the second half that went just wide.
