IMMOKALEE, Fla. (October 7, 2023) - The St. Thomas University (STU) Women's Cross Country team hit the road to compete in the 2023 Sun Conference Preview at Ave Maria University. Isabella Marty led the Bobcats, finishing in 13th place and leading the team to an eighth-place finish.

Highlights 

Freshman Isabella Marty once again took the lead for the Bobcats in the Sun Conference preview, finishing first for the Bobcats and 13th place overall. Marty finished the race with a time of 25:09.5 and an average mile of 6:45. Emily Holzer finished second for the Bobcats, crossing the finish line just a minute after Marty. Holzer finished in 28th place overall, with a time of 26:11.5 and an average mile of 7:02. Senior Jada Blackheart finished third for the Bobcats, coming in 63rd place overall with a time of 30:45.3.
