AVE MARIA, Fla. (November 4, 2023) - The St. Thomas University (STU) Women's Soccer team participated in the Sun Conference Championships this weekend, notching a fourth-place finish overall. The Bobcats had five runners competing in the Championships meet, with Freshman Isabella Marty leading the pack. 

Isabella Marty showcased her impressive skills, claiming the 13th position overall for the Bobcats with an excellent time of 24:16.44. Marty's outstanding performance throughout the season rightfully earned her a spot on the Second Team All-Conference. 

Following closely in Marty's footsteps, Emily Holzer secured 19th place, crossing the finish line with a time of 24:51.97. Holzer had a great senior season, earning a spot on the 2023 All-Academic Team. A few minutes later, Wislande Pierre-Louis crossed the finish line in 47th place with a time of 29:05.30. Jada Blackheart followed a minute later with a time of 30:39.18. Christian Pommells rounded off the Bobcats' performance, finishing in 59th place with a time of 34:41.46.
