MIAMI GARDENS, Fla. (February 15, 2023) – The St. Thomas University (STU) #8 Men's Baseball Team bring home the win over Florida National University (FNU) with a final score of 5-1 including a huge 4-run 3rd inning. 

Post-Game Review 

· The Bobcats own, Omar Baldo, kicks things off early in the 1st inning, hitting a single into right center and bringing Infielder, Angelo Piloto, across home plate. 

· Tension begins to rise early in the 3rd inning as Infielder, Robin Fernandez, hits a homerun to right field after a ball came rather close to hitting him. 

· Benches clear in the 3rd inning after a pitch was directed towards Outfielder, Brian Garcia. 

· With 2 runners on base, Brian Garcia, makes a statement as he hits his first homerun on the season, giving the Bobcats a 4-1 lead. 

· FNU late inning score isn't enough to carry them over a win for St. Thomas University, the game ending in a final score of 5-1.
