BRUNSWICK, Ga. (April 26, 2023) – The 2023 Sun Conference Tournament started on Wednesday afternoon at the Marta B. Torrey Tennis Complex. St. Thomas University Women's Tennis (18=6, 2-4 SUN) fell in the quarterfinal round to SCAD-Savannah (8-9, 3-3 SUN) 4-1. The Bobcats were the fifth seed and are currently ranked 11
th in the nation while SCAD-Savannah was the fourth seed and is currently 8
th in the final NAIA Coaches' Poll.

Doubles Play
- The Bobcats started off the match on top taking the doubles point.
- St. Thomas fell on court two in straight games.
- Annie Carrera and Lia Pena took court three 6-3 to tie it up.
- Isabella Ciancaglini-Ribera and Carma Ibanez Navarro clinched the point with a6-3 win at line one.
- This was the 17th doubles point won this season.

- SCAD opened singles play taking court two to tie the match atone all.
- Lia Pena fell on court one in straight sets taking it to a tie breaker and deuce.
- Annie Carrera fell on court three in three sets after winning the first one.
- SCAD clinched the match on court five as Lauren Seeman fell in straight sets.
- Ciancaglini-Ribera had an unfinished match but was up a set and leading 5-3 on the second.
