MIAMI GARDENS, Fla. (September 29, 2023) - St. Thomas University (STU) Women's l Swimming team kicked off their 2023-24 campaign with a glimpse into a matchup we will see more from down the line this season. The Bobcats welcomed Keiser University down to the Miami Dade North Aquatics Center on Friday afternoon. In a big test to start the year, STU fell 167-95 to the Seahawks. Keiser was last year's national champion as St. Thomas finished in fifth.

• Sophie Urias - 2nd place finish in 1000 Free. 
• Alessia Classen - 2nd place finish in 100 Back
• Stella Warborn - 3rd place finish in 100 Breast
• Souza Sales and Abrahamsen take two three in 100 Free. 
• Rylee Woelk - 2nd place finish in 500 Free
• Urias led in scoring with 15 points.
• Abrahamsen and Souza Sales totaled for 13 points each.
• This is the second meeting with the Seahawks in a dual fashion.

Upcoming

St. Thomas will compete at the TYR Fall Classic hosted by Florida International down at their Biscayne campus. This is the second time the Bobcats have been invited. It will be a two-day event on October 6-7.
