1/16/2024 1:32:00 PM

MIAMI GARDENS, Fla. (January 16, 2024) – The St. Thomas University (STU) Women's Flag Football team announces their 2024 schedule, heading into their fourth season. Head Coach Erick Burzanko has been the front man from the beginning and looks to make more noise in 2024.

The 2024 season kicks off at home against the Warner Royals February 23rd. In 2023 the Bobcats were a perfect 2-0 against the Royals. STU will stay put for the next one because eight days later, Webber International pays a visit to AutoNation field for a date with the Bobcats. STU was 2-1 against the Warriors last year, going 1-1 in the regular season, and beating them in the NAIA Tournament 13-0.

The first game on the road for the Bobcats will be against Fort Lauderdale in Lauderhill, Fla. The first "Battle of Miami Gardens" will take place on home turf for the Bobcats against Florida Memorial. The very next day they will travel to Georgia for an in-season tournament March 15th through the 17th hosted by Reinhardt, and will take on a variety of Sun Conference teams.

The next two matchups will be at AutoNation Field the first one being against Reinhardt, followed by Life two days later. STU will then travel to Webber International for a second meeting with the Warriors, before returning home for a tough game taking on the Keiser Seahawks. The next two games will take place in the peach state, the first one against Thomas, followed by Point the day after. Returning home the Eagles of Fort Lauderdale will face off against the Bobcats for the second time in 2024. The final game of the regular season will be round two of "The Battle of Miami Gardens" on the road at Florida Memorial.
