Miami Gardens, Fla. – The fourth-ranked St. Thomas Men's Soccer Team quickly got on the scoreboard on Wednesday evening with a goal in the fourth minute, keeping that pace for the entire Sun Conference outing against Warner in a 10-0 victory.

HOW IT HAPPENED:
- Angelo Bernandes opened the flood gates with a goal in the fourth minute.
- Francisco Tolaba found Hernando Suarez in the eighth minute to put STU up 2-0.
- Guido Cacciabue scored an unassisted goal in the 15th minute, followed 55 seconds later by a Bernandes strike from Tolaba to create a 4-0 score.
- Suarez scored his second goal of the contest in the 27th minute off a pass from Bernandes.
- Tolaba found the back of the net in the 35th minute, with Lorenzo DiMercurio following in the 37th minute.
- Hugo Rego ended the half with a penalty kick goal in the 43rd minute.
- Tim Kreuzpeinter scored a pair of goals in the second half, getting his second goal off a DiMercurio pass to create the final score.
NOTEWORTHY:
- It is the first time the Bobcats scored double-digit goals since a 10-0 route at Middle Georgia State on Sept. 20, 2021, and the most goals scored at AutoNation Field since it became the home of STU in 2021.
- Bernandes led the offense with two goals and one assist.
- Tolaba dished out two assists while adding one goal.
INSIDE THE BOX SCORE:
- STU took 34 shots, 20 on target. Warner tallied one shot that landed on frame.
- St. Thomas held a 6-2 advantage in corner kicks.
- The Bobcats received two cautions while Warner recorded one.
