Volleyball Cruises To 3-0 Victory At Florida Memorial

Miami Gardens, Fla. – Three members of the 10th-ranked St. Thomas Volleyball team averaged three kills per set or higher on Wednesday evening with hitting percentages over .350 while the defense held host Florida Memorial to a -.065 hitting percentage in a 3-0 (25-14, 25-9, 25-10) victory.

  • Set 1 -After trading the opening 14 points of the contest, STU scored three-straight to take a 10-7 lead. The Bobcats held the host without a run greater than two for the duration of the first stanza.
  • Set 2 – The Bobcats scored the opening two points and never trailed in the second set.
  • Set 3 – STU quickly crated a double-digit advantage at 12-2, fending off a late rally by Florida Memorial to close the match.
