Bianca Grassi's historic milestone on Saturday afternoon, the 10th-ranked St. Thomas Volleyball team swept Southeastern 3-0 (25-23, 25-18, 25-14) to stand alone atop the Sun Conference standings as the last undefeated team in league play.

HOW IT HAPPENED:
- Set 1 -After trading the opening 46 points of an opening set that saw neither side hold a lead greater than three, the Bobcats used a kill and service ace back-to-back to end the frame.
- Set 2 – STU overcame an early 3-2 deficit behind a 3-0 run, fending off a Southeastern rally midway through the frame with a 5-0 spree that created a 14-8 score. The Bobcats kept the lead above three for the rest of the second set.
- Set 3 – The Bobcats scored seven of the opening 10 points of the third set to quickly take a 7-3 lead, using an 8-0 run late in the stanza that featured Grassi's 2,000th dig to clinch the match.
NOTEWORTHY:
- Grassi boasted 24 digs, becoming the first Bobcat to eclipse 2,000 in their career and just the fifth in the Sun Conference to accomplish it.
- Hope Leavy-Gaskins paced the offense behind 11 kills on a .474 clip while adding on solo block and one assisted block.
- Payton Bertke dished out 34 assists.
INSIDE THE BOX SCORE:
- STU finished the match with 44 kills on a .196 hitting percentage versus 23 kills on a .010 clip for Southeastern.
- St. Thomas served three aces while SEU logged one.
- The Bobcats tallied five solo blocks with six assisted, the Flames recorded one solo and six assisted.
- The Bobcats held a 55-39 advantage in digs.
