Lakeland, Fla. – On the precipice of history on Saturday afternoon, the 10t-ranked St. Thomas Volleyball Team thwarted host Southeastern's comeback chance in a 3-1 (25-16, 25-21, 23-25, 225-16) victory to complete the first undefeated season by a National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA) sponsored sport in STU history.

Set 4 – After trading the opening 10 points of the fourth set, the Bobcats scored four-straight to pull ahead 9-5. St. Thomas further extended their lead to 19-11 behind a 5-0 run, creating a doble-digit separation at 22-12.
