- Set 1 -The Bobcats broke open a 5-5 stalemate with three-straight points and held on to the lead for the rest of the set, creating a double-digit advantage at 18-8.
- Set 2 – STU scored eight of the opening 10 points of the set to take the early advantage and kept the lead above six for the duration of the stanza.
- Set 3 – Facing their largest deficit of the night early in the third set at 6-2, St. Thomas quickly flipped the lead behind a 7-0 run and held the visitors without a run of consecutive points for the duration of the night.
