West Palm Beach, Fla. – Looking to avoid the reverse sweep on Wednesday evening, the 14th-ranked St. Thomas University used a .450 hitting percentage in the tiebreaker frame to prevail 3-2 (25-20, 25-19, 22-25, 20-25, 15-9) over host Keiser University.

HOW IT HAPPENED:
- Set 1 – After trading the opening 24 points of the night, the Bobcats scored three-straight to take a 15-12 lead and held the host without a run greater than three for the rest of the first set.
- Set 2 – The Bobcats responded to a set-two-starting tally by Keiser with four-straight and kept the lead for the rest of the frame.
- Set 3 – Keiser withstood a 6-0 STU run that pushed them ahead 10-8 with a 4-0 run that propelled them to a 13-12 advantage and kept the lead to extend the match to a fourth set.
- Set 4 – Keiser scored the opening point of the fourth set and never trailed in the stanza.
- Set 5- The Bobcats held the host without a run of consecutive points in the fifth set until back-to-back tallies made it 13-9, with STU responding with an equal run to end the night.
