Marietta, Ga. – Going up against some of the top programs from the National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA) and National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) Division II at the Small College Championship Cup, the St. Thomas University Swimming and Diving teams finished first in both the Men's and Women's divisions.
FINALS: Men, 786 Points (1st Place) | Women, 868 Points (1st Place)
STANDOUT PERFOMERS (MEN):
- Adam Conrad accumulated 53 points after finishing first in the 400 Medley, second in the 200 Medley and third in the 200 Breaststroke.
- Rafa Gonzalez Gamez placed second in the 500 Free, 100 Free, 200 Free Relay and 400 Free Relay
- Elliot Best was part of the 400 Free Relay and 800 Free Relays which finished second while adding a third-place showing in the 200 Fly.
- Flynn Smith earned a silver medal in the 200 Backstroke.
- Alan Gonzalez Torres finished first in the 500 Free and the 1650 Back.
- Eric Risland earned a silver medal in the 400 Medley Relay.
- Kervens Warnon tallied a gold medal in the 200 Backstroke with silvers in the 400 Medley Relay and 100 Backstroke.
STANDOUT PERFOMERS (WOMEN):
- Alessia Claassen accumulated four golds (400 Medley Relay, 200 Medley Relay, 400 Free Relay, 200 Backstroke, a silver in the 400 IM and bronze in the 200 IM.
- Bea Alonso earned first place in the 200 Free and 500 Free while taking second in the 800 Free Relay.
- Sophie Urias took first in the 1650 Free and second in the 500 Free.
- Josefina Berraud Galea added a silver in the 800 Free and bronze in the 500 Free and 1650 Free.
- Emma Philips was part of the 400 Free while placing third in the 400 IM.
- Martine Abrahamsen brought home a gold in the 400 Free Relay, silvers in the 100 Free, 200 Free Relay and 800 Free Relay plus a bronze in the 200 Free.
- Katie Gorno boasted three goals (200 Medley Relay, 400 Medley Relay, 400 Free Relay), two silvers (200 Free Relay, 800 Free Relay) and two bronzes (50 Free, 100 Free).
