WILLIAMSBURG, Ky. (February 13, 2025) - The (RV) St. Thomas University (STU) Women's Lacrosse team faced off against Siena Heights University for their second game of the season. The Bobcats pulled out the victory against the Saints with a final score of 7-6, bringing their overall record to 1-1 this season.

HIGHLIGHTS:

• The Saints were the first on the board with a goal in the first period but the Bobcats were quick to respond, with Hailey Joselyn tying it up just a minute and a half later.
• Joselyn notched another goal in period one, assisted by Paige Peters
• Joselyn and Paige Beardsley added two more goals in the second period, while the defense held the Saints to a scoreless period with a score of 2-4.
• SHU had three goals in the third compared to the Bobcats' one which was scored by Peters and assisted by Jenna Lytch.
• The back-and-forth continued in the final period, but a goal from Paige Peters and Jewell Milliman secured the victory for the Bobcats, 6-7.
• Peters and Joselyn led in shots on goal, each recording four to contribute to the team total of 14.
• Kaitlyn Atchinson had another impressive game in goal, notching nine saves against the Saints
