Box Score GEORGETOWN, Ky. (February 14, 2025) - The (RV) St. Thomas University (STU) Women's Lacrosse team brought the heat this Valentine's Day, taking down
Georgetown College on the road, 9-6. This victory brings the Bobcats to an overall record of 2-1 and a 1-1 series record against the Tigers.
HIGHLIGHTS
- Jewell Milliman put the Bobcats on the board early in the first period, with Hailey Joselyn notching the assist. Joselyn went on to score her own goal, unassisted to put the Bobcats up two.Â
- The second period saw some back-and-forth, with the Tigers tying up the match to close out the period 3-3. Milliman picked up another goal in the period.
- After the halftime break, the Bobcats began to run away with the lead, Joselyn scoring a goal in the third, and the defense holding the Tigers to a scoreless period.
- St. Thomas continued to extend, picking up five goals in the final period. Jenna Lytch was the first to score in period four, while Alex Fernandez and Kylie Lubrant each picked up two of their own.
- Joselyn notched two assists and Fernandez earned one of her own.
- Kaitlyn Atchinson had another standout performance, picking up 10 saves in the meeting.
- The Bobcats defeated the Tigers 9-6 in the match up.
