Tallahassee, Fla. – Led by Lucas Gonzalez's second-best individual score at the Michael Fine Florida State University Collegiate Classic Bowling Tournament on Saturday via Gonzalez, The St. Thomas University Bowling Team finished 17 pins behind third place for a fourth-place showing.

Earning All-Tournament Team accolades with his second-place individual finish, Gonzalez boasted a 213 average with a high of 267. Christopher Romano joined Gonzalez in the top-10 with a ninth-place outing behind an average of 193 and a high of 224 while Landan Creighton (187 average) and Layne Meister (182 average) both finished in the top-20.

The Bobcats hit the road to take part in the Elite Kegel/ISBPA Collegiate Classic in Chicago, beginning play in the competition that features over 70 varsity programs on Saturday, Jan. 17 and continuing Sunday, Jan. 18.
