Miami Gardens, Fla. – Despite being one of the newest programs in the country, the St. Thomas University Men's Bowling Team has signed one of the top high school bowlers in the country as Ryan Lang announced his decision to join the Bobcats.

With a spring semester still to go before competing at STU, Lang has sat atop the Eastern Shore High School Bowler rankings two years in a row while boasting three United States Bowling Congress (USBC) Eastern Shore high average and has won two Pennsylvania Junior Bowlers Tour (PJBT) Major Championships. This past fall, Lang finished second overall at the prestigious Parker Bohn III Tournament in Howell, N.J.

"We are thrilled and so fortunate that Ryan will join STU's men's team," Director of Bowling Operations John Michalenko said. "Adding Ryan immediately elevates our team and puts us in a position to win regional and national tournaments."

Joining the Bobcats in August 2026, Ryan will enroll in the School of Nursing.
