Matchup History

St. Thomas leads the all-time series over Webber International, 20-2. The Bobcats are currently on a 15-game winning streak over the Warriors. In last year's matchup, St. Thomas defeated Webber 4-0 behind a goal each from current Bobcats Thiago Patto and Manuel Dominguez.

Welcome Back Akpinar

In his first game back in almost a month, Kerim Akpinar made his impact felt quickly. The forward from Germany entered the game at Ave Maria this past Saturday in the 27th minute. He scored his first goal of the season just ten minutes later in the 37th minute, and then scored his second goal of the match in the 42nd minute. Akpinar finished the game playing 48 minutes and scored on the only two shots he took.

Laborde's Five-Game Point Steak

Since coming back from the Bobcats' early-season trip to Georgia, Julien Laborde has been a consistent name on the Bobcats' score sheet. In the five-game span starting on September 10, Laborde has had at least one goal or assist per game. In the past week, he had the game-tying goal at Florida Memorial and recorded two assists in the win at Ave Maria.

Scouting Webber International

After winning their first two games of the season, the Warriors have struggled. They are currently on a six-game losing streak that started on September 10. Wednesday will be their first Sun Conference road game of the season, as they faced SCAD and New College of Florida in Babson Park. Webber is averaging 1.30 goals per game, while allowing 2.70 goals against per game. The Warriors are also tied for the third-most yellow cards in the NAIA, with 40 this season. Rodnny Gonzalez has been the Warriors' offensive spark this year, as he has six goals on the season.
