Sarasota, Fla. – Concluding the 2025-26 regular season on Saturday afternoon with a road contest, the St. Thomas University Women's Basketball Team defeated host New College of Florida 69-36.

HOW IT HAPPENED:
- Trailing 3-2 early in the contest, the Bobcats scored five-straight points to take the lead at 7-3 with each side doubling their score over the final five minutes of the first quarter to make it 14-6.
- STU countered a basket to start the second quarter from the host with seven-straight to take a 24-8 lead and kept the advantage in double digits for the rest of the contest.

INSIDE THE BOX SCORE:
- STU went 24-63 from the field, 8-26 from beyond the arc and 13-26 from the free throw line. New College went 11-47, 3-19 from three-point range and 11-19 from the free throw line.
- STU held a 43-27 advantage in rebounds.
- The Bobcats forced 19 turnovers, resulting in 25 points. The host scored three points off 11 turnovers.
- STU recorded 10 steals and two blocks versus five steals and two blocks for the Mighty Banyans.
