Men Finish Second, Aquilino Leads Women at STU Invitational

Miami Gardens, Fla. – Led by three top-10 finishes, the St. Thomas University Men's Cross Country team earned second place with 53 points at the STU Bob Cat Invitational on Friday, September 11, while Kaycie Aquilino paced the women with a seventh-place finish on the Bobcats' home course.

Parker Doll led the men in the 8K race, finishing sixth with a time of 27:54.69. Mattia Uboldi followed in eighth at 28:19.49, while Jonathan Petit-Frere placed ninth in 28:37.75. David Perez finished 15th at 29:28.91, followed by Ryan Hansen in 18th at 29:43.96 to round out STU's five scoring runners.

In the women's 6K, Aquilino recorded a time of 24:26.65 to secure seventh place. Isabella Marty followed in 11th at 25:28.33, giving the Bobcats two finishers among the top 15.

Natalia Higashi crossed the finish line in 36th with a time of 30:57.81, while Jurni Janac finished 44th at 33:46.05.
