WEST PALM BEACH, FL – The St. Thomas University Bobcats score first win of the season on the road versus Northwood University by a score of 7-2. The win pulls the Bobcats overall record to 1-3 (1-2 in The Sun Conference).
In doubles play the Bobcats were able to take a 2-1 advantage heading into singles play. The Bobcats won at #1 doubles with Adrian Escarate and Andrew Rifkin scoring an 8-5 victory, Jeremy Bache and William Fountain won at #2 doubles by a score of 8-3, dominating their opponent.
In singles the Bobcats took all but one point and that was at #5 singles. The top 3 singles spots won convincingly dropping only 8 games between them. William Fountain dominated at #3 singles getting a 6-0, 6-0 victory. Adrian Escarate won 6-1, 6-2 at #1 singles.
The Bobcats have a couple weeks off before they travel to back to West Palm Beach, FL to take on Palm Beach Atlantic University. The Bobcats will be looking to continue their successful play.
