The Bobcats got off to a quick start in the game scoring 3 runs in the first inning but they allowed 5 different multi-run innings, which proved to be too much to overcome. The loss dropped the Bobcats overall record to 1-10 (1-2 in The Sun Conference).

The Bobcats had no problems offensively as they were able to compile 9 runs on 12 hits. They came out hot from the beginning scoring 3 runs in the first as they got 2 runs in off of sacrifice flies and a RBI singles by DePhillip Mason.
