MIAMI GARDENS, FL – The St. Thomas University Bobcats get their third win of the year over the Florida Memorial University Fighting Lions by a score of 3-1. The win has the Bobcats overall record at 3-12 (3-4 in The Sun Conference). The Bobcats were able to produce one run in three different innings on 12 hits overall.
The Bobcats got up 1-0 in the 1st inning after
DePhillip Mason got a base hit and stole second base and then got knocked in from second on a
Lance Larimer single. In the 4th inning is when the Bobcats struck again. JC Gil got a double before getting driven in by an
Anthony Angulo single. The Bobcats scored their last run in the 5th inning after
Manuel Rodriguez crossed home plate following his double.
For the Bobcats,
DePhillip Mason went 2-4 with a run scored,
Kyle Radziewski went 2-4, JC Gil went 2-4 with a double and a run scored,
Anthony Angulo went 2-2 with a RBI and a walk, and
Manuel Rodriguez went 3-3 with a double, a walk, and a run scored.

Yamil Echeverria was credited with the win for the Bobcats pitching 1 inning and allowing 2 hits and 1 run.
Jesse Fernandez was credited with the save pitching 1 inning and allowed only 2 walks. The Bobcats used 9 different pitchers, using one pitcher per inning.
