MIAMI GARDENS, Fla. – The Men’s Tennis team won back-to-back matches this weekend over Palm Beach Atlantic and St. Leo.
The 12th ranked Bobcats took their first win over PBA in Coach
Bruce Carrington’s career. Strong doubles play was key in the Bobcats’ success Saturday, as they won 2 of 3. Winners in singles action for STU include Gonzalo Gayoso, Andrew Rifkin, Esteban Mesa, and Frederico Acevedo. The Bobcats came out on top 6-3 for their sixth consecutive win.
STU continued their winning ways Sunday with an 8-1 victory over St. Leo. The Bobcats swept the doubles’ points and lost just one singles match to roll on for their seventh consecutive victory. The Bobcats improve to 9-2 on the season and will welcome Lindenwood on April 1st for 2 PM matches.
