Box Score MIAMI GARDENS, Fla.- The season started off great for the Bobcats with a home opener against Lynn University Knights. The final score was 9-7.

In the first five innings of the game Wednesday, the Bobcats found themselves down 3 runs heading into the top of the 6th. STU got 3 RBIs early in the inning with the help of Y. Gomez and his homerun. The Bobcats went on to having a dominating 7th inning scoring 6 runs. STU's 6 runs sealed the deal in the 7th inning. Claudio and Gomez lead all scorers with 2 runs a piece. The Knights Phil Mannelly was 3-for-4 at the plate with three runs scored and two runs batted in.The Fighting Knights fall to a record of 1-1 overall.

The Bobcats begin the season 1-0 on and will face Florida Southern Friday night at 6 PM. Go Bobcats!
