MIAMI GARDENS, Fla. – The nationally ranked St. Thomas University men's and women's tennis teams face Sun Conference rival Northwood on Wednesday at 2 p.m. on the STU campus. 

The men's team is ranked 23rd in the nation and hungry for a victory after a tough conference loss over the weekend to Webber International.

The women's team, ranked 20^th, was victorious in its last contest also vs. Webber International, sweeping the Royals 8-0 with straight set wins by Gabriella Bongiovanni in no. 1 singles, Ydsia Quintero in no. 3 singles, Manuela Gil in no. 5 singles and Lauren Lightfoot in No. 6 singles.  All three doubles teams won their matches by at least four games.
