Box Score MIAMI GARDENS, Fla. - Elim Perritte hit a walk-off single with the bases loaded to propel St. Thomas to a 4-3 win over Warner Friday night at Paul Demie Mainieri Field. The Bobcats (12-1, 6-1 Sun) have won seven consecutive games and remained in a tie for first place in The Sun Conference.

St. Thomas trailed 3-2 entering the bottom of the ninth against Warner's Aaron Kehres. Adam Duarte led off with a single, then advanced to second on a error. Oscar Aguirre then hit a single that scored Duarte who beat a play at the plate to tie the game. A single by Jerry Downs and an error on a sacrifice by Paul Chacin loaded the bases for Perrite who delivered with the game-winning RBI with no outs.

Dayron Gomez (1-0) earned the victory after not allowing a hit in the top of the ninth. Eddie Cody started the game for the Bobcats and allowed three runs on six hits across eight complete innings with seven strikeouts. Kehres (2-1) took the loss for the Royals.

The three-game series vs. the Royals (8-5, 4-3 Sun) concludes Saturday with a doubleheader starting at 12 p.m. at Paul Demie Mainieri Field.
