Box Score 3 MIAMI GARDENS, Fla. – St. Thomas (25-12, 15-6) swept both games of a doubleheader Saturday at Paul Demie Mainieri Field to complete a three-game series sweep over USC Beaufort (14-18, 6-12 TSC).

The Bobcats led the entire way in game two scoring one run in each of the first four innings en route to a 4-3 win over the Sand Sharks. Freshman lefthander
Brandon Valentin (5-2) earned the win allowing three runs on seven hits through five innings.

In game one of the series played Friday night, the Bobcats blanked the Sand Sharks 10-0 in a game called due to the mercy rule.
Eddie Cody (7-1) pitched a five-hit shutout with six strikeouts and no walks, lowering his ERA to 1.32. Catcher
Oscar Aguirre went 3-5 with two RBI to fuel STU's offensive attack.
St. Thomas returns to action on Tuesday at Northwood.
