BOBCATS COME BACK TO DOWN KEISER

Box Score MIAMI GARDENS, Fla. - No. 24 St. Thomas (23-11) used a six-run seventh inning to come from behind to defeat no. 19 Keiser (24-11) 8-5 Wednesday night at Paul Demie Mainieri Field.
Trailing 4-2 in the seventh inning, St. Thomas exploded with six runs on seven hits to take a 8-4 lead.  Thirteen Bobcats batted in the monster inning beginning with Oscar Rodriguez who led off with a single. 
Rodriguez came into to score on a sacrifice fly by Oscar Aguirre.  Kendrick Gutierrez then hit a 2-RBI single to put the Bobcats ahead, scoring Jose Gomez and pinch runner Michael Sanchez. The onslaught continued as pinch hitter Jack Diaz hit a 2-RBI single and Rodriguez hit an RBI-single in his second at bat of the inning.   
Brandon Valentin (1-1) earned the win for the Bobcats. Tyeler Checkley relieved pitched 1.2 innings to close out the win and earn the save.
