Michael Centeno hit two home runs to lead no. 2 St. Thomas (12-9, 3-1 Sun Conference) to a 8-5 win over Warner (13-7, 5-2 TSC) Friday night at Paul Demie Mainieri Field.Â

Alex Viera (3-0) earned the win in relief while
Chris Rodriguez picked up his second save.Â

Warner headed into the bottom of the sixth with a 5-3 lead. Centeno led the Bobcats with a solo home run to make the lead 5-4. Aguirre then walked with the bases loaded to tie the game at 5-5 with
Adam Duarte scoring.

St. Thomas broke the tie in the bottom of the seventh with Centeno's second home run of the game, a three-run shot scoring
German Morales and
Oscar Rodriguez.

Ben Ancheff started the game and ended up with six innings giving up eight hits, five runs with four earned. He also struck out four and walked one. Viera came in to relief and pitched two shutout innings, not allowing a hit.
Chris Rodriguez came in to close out the game in the ninth with one strikeout, one hits batsman and no hits.

Up next for the Bobcats is a doubleheader tomorrow against Warner to close out the three-game series.
