Cesar Ramirez went 2-4 with an RBI triple that scored Steven Fischer in the bottom of the first to give the Bobcats one of their two runs in the contest.  The other STU run came on a passed ball in the fifth that scored German Morales from third.


Emilio Valdez started for STU and took the loss after pitching five innings, allowing four runs (three earned) on seven hits.  Brandon Valentine pitched two perfect innings of relief of Valdez, striking out three.  Alex Viera came in to pitch the ninth and was also perfect stirking out two of the three batters he faced.

St. Thomas returns to action on Monday, April 11 vs. Florida Memorial at Paul Demie Mainieri Field.
