MIAMI GARDENS, Fla. – Host St. Thomas (1-3) swept Webber International (0-3) 9-0 in the Sun Conference home opener for the Bobcats.
 
Kevin Cubela, Jermaine Le Grand, Dimitri Bird, Juan Carlos Villamizar-Abia and Fabrice Bissainthe all won in singles for St. Thomas.
 
In doubles, the team of Cubela and Fernandez won in number one doubles 8-4, while the team of LeGrand and Bird did not lose a game in winning number two doubles 8-0.
