VERO BEACH, Fla. – The #21 St. Thomas University Bobcats (16-3, 5-1 TSC) earned a win against Miami University – Hamilton (2-5) by a score of 15-7 on Sunday afternoon.
The Bobcats offense would receive contributions from its entire lineup as all nine starters would contribute at least one hit in the 19 hit, 15 run effort in the win.
Nick Izquierdo (5-5, 4 RBIs, 3 Doubles),
Daniel Lowry (2-3, 3 RBI), Erick Delgado (2-4, 3 R),
Oscar Rodriguez (2-4, 2 R), Nelson Mompierre (2-4, 2 RBI, 3 R) and Sergio Lopez (2-5, 2 R) all added multi-hit efforts to spread around the offensive raking. Izquierdo on the strength of his 5-for-5 day earned the Golden Rake, marking the third time over "Spring Rake" that the Golden Rake winners made their award debuts.
The Bobcats held a 4-1 lead into the sixth inning, when the Harriers would tie the game on an error by St. Thomas. Heading into the seventh inning with the game tied at 4-4, the Bobcats offense would erupt for six runs with two outs to break the game wide open, courtesy of a Mompierre two-run double, an RBI single from Rodriguez, an RBI double from Izquierdo and a single from Lowry.
Ian Exposito (3-0) earned his third win on the season in the start, going seven innings, racking up nine strikeouts, allowing four hits, and no earned runs.

Jose Pupo would finish out the game for the Bobcats.
