Box Score DALTON, GA. – St. Thomas University (1-4-0) dropped another match, this time as a road loss to Dalton State College (4-3-1) with a final score of 2-1 on Saturday afternoon.
St. Thomas resumed NAIA play against the Dalton State College Roadrunners, following three straight games against NCAA opponents.
Neither team was able to get much offense going as the score remained tied after the first half of play. DSC broke the scoreless tie in the 58th minute as the Roadrunners were able to net a goal off of a header to take a 1-0 lead. Bobcat freshman,
Lasse Lahrtz netted his second goal of the season as an equalizer in the 74th minute of the match.

The Bobcats were not able to maintain the late momentum swing as the Roadrunners netted another goal to re-claim the lead once again in the 85th minute to seal the game and the fourth consecutive defeat for the Bobcats.

The Bobcats will begin Sun Conference play and defense of their Sun Conference crown on Wednesday afternoon, with a rematch of their season opener as they travel to play Ave Maria at 4 p.m.in Naples.
