LAKE WALES, Fla. (March 12, 2021) - No. 4 St. Thomas University (15-8) Bobcats Baseball split the Friday doubleheader against Bellevue University and Warner University. STU defeated the Bruins of Bellevue 7-1 in early morning action and fell against Warner in non-conference play, 3-0.

- Pino sat down the Bruins in order in the top of the first inning, striking out one.
- Lopez led off the bottom of the first inning with an infield single but STU was held off the scoreboard.
- R. Fernandez led off the bottom of the second inning with a single to right field and Khawly followed with a double to left-center.
- R. Fernandez and Khawly came into score on wild pitches during A. Fernandez's at-bat, as STU took a 2-0 lead.
- After loading the bases with no outs in the third inning, Pino escaped the jam with a double play to keep BU off the board.
- Khawly recorded his second hit on the game, driving in Thompson with a single, extending the Bobcat lead to 3-0.
- Three consecutive hits for the Bruins led to Bellevue's first run, putting the score at 3-1 in the top of the fourth inning.
- Â Montesino and Mondejar both reached to open the bottom of the fourth inning for St. Thomas.
- Lopez singled to left field, plating Montesino, as STU took a 4-1 lead.
- Joey Thompson scored on a wild pitch, putting the score at 5-1.
- STU added two more runs on wild pitches in the inning, taking a 7-1 lead.
- Jose Ledesma pitched the final two innings for St. Thomas, striking out four and sealing a 7-1 win for STU's sixth consecutive victory.

- STU took the field against a familiar foe, facing the Royals for the fourth time in 2021.
- WU got on the board early, scoring in the first inning with an RBI single.
- Soto ended the first inning with a strikeout, but the Bobcats went down in order in the top of the second inning.
- Rangel stole second to get STU its first runner in scoring position but was left stranded in the top of the third inning.
- JJ Galvis entered in relief of Soto in the bottom of the third inning.
- The Royals extended their lead to 2-0 in the inning with a sacrifice fly.
- Robert Touron was called out of the bullpen in the bottom of the fourth and struck out one.
- With runners on second and third and two outs in the top of the fifth inning, STU was unable to tie the game as the score remained 2-0.
- Warner tacked on their third run with an error in the bottom of the fifth inning.
