MIAMI GARDENS, Fla. (April 17, 2021) - No. 18 St. Thomas University (30-16, 15-6 TSC) completed a three-game sweep over (RV) Webber International University (25-20, 12-8 TSC) by taking both halves of doubleheader in the Sun Conference Series of the Week finale on Saturday afternoon from Paul Demie Mainieri Field. STU took game one, winning 7-4, and completed the sweep with a 10-7 victory.

- WIU took an early lead by plating two runs in the top of the first inning by recording three consecutive hits.
- Montesino hit a one-out triple to right field and scored on a Rangel sacrifice fly to put the score at 2-1.
- A. Fernandez tied the game with an RBI triple, plating R. Fernandez, and tying the game 2-2.
- With one out in the top of the third inning, WIU took a 3-2 lead with a solo home run.
- STU tied the game with an RBI single from R. Fernandez, as the freshman beat out an infield single with two outs.
- Joel Rivero entered in the top of the fifth inning for the Bobcats, inheriting two base runners.
- Rivero induced a double play, ending a bases-loaded threat.
- Alejandro Rivero became the first Bobat hitter to reach double digits in home runs, hitting his team leading 10th home run of the season to give St. Thomas a 4-3 lead in the bottom of the sixth.
- The Warriors tied the game in the top of the seventh with an RBI groundout.
- Christian Dearman entered the game for STU for the top of the eighth inning.
- Montesino hit his second home run of the season, giving the Bobcats a 5-4 lead in the bottom of the eighth inning.
- St. Thomas plated two more runs in the inning, taking a 7-4 advantage into the ninth inning.
- Dearman sealed the series win for STU, recording the final three outs in the game.

- Cabrera worked around a lead-off double to hold the Warriors off the scoreboard in the first inning.
- Lopez led off the bottom half of the first inning with a triple to right-center, and scored on a Montesino sacrifice fly.
- WIU responded with two runs in the top of the second inning.
- Lowry worked a walk, and Guerra followed with a double, giving STU two runners in scoring position to begin the bottom of the second.
- Montesino doubled, driving in both runners, and gave STU a 3-2 advantage.
- Mondejar worked a bases loaded walk, extending the lead to 4-2 for St. Thomas.
- Khawly capped off the inning by scoring Rangel on a fielder's choice, giving STU a 5-2 lead.
- A lead-off solo home run by WIU started a five-run top of the fifth inning to give the Warriors a 7-5 lead.
- The Bobcats quickly responded with three runs, taking an 8-7 lead over the Warriors, as Montesino continued his day with an RBI double.
- JJ Galvis, Luis Gonzalez, and Christian Dearman combined to hold WIU off the scoreboard for the remainder of the game.
- STU added two more runs in the bottom of the eighth inning, extending the lead to 10-7.
- A groundout to third base sealed the series sweep, as the Bobcats recorded their 30th win of the season.
