WEST PALM BEACH, Fla. (May 7, 2021) - No. 12 St. Thomas University (STU) Bobcats Baseball (33-19), the second-seed in the Sun Conference Tournament, was eliminated by No. 2, and top-seeded Southeastern University (43-7) 11-0 on Saturday afternoon from the FITTEAM Ballpark of the Palm Beaches.

- Southeastern capitalized on an early error by the Bobcats to take a 1-0 lead in the top of the first inning.
- Rangel doubled down the left-field line; but was unable to score, as STU trailed 1-0 after one inning.
- SEU had six consecutive batters reach and score after the first two outs of the second inning were recorded, taking a 7-0 lead.
- The Fire capped off the outburst with a three-run home run.
- Jason Grana entered in relief to begin the top of the third inning, retiring the Fire in order.
- SEU added an eighth run in the top of the fourth inning with a sacrifice fly.
- Southeastern extended its lead to 10-0 in the top of the fifth inning with back-to-back RBI singles.
- Montesino walked to lead off the bottom of the fifth, breaking a string of 11 consecutive outs by SEU.
- Thompson was the last STU hitter to reach base - dropped third strike - in the game, as the Bobcats fell against Southeastern 11-0.
