MIAMI GARDENS, Fla. (January 12, 2023) - The Sun Conference announced the annual preseason coaches' poll for the 2023 Baseball season on Thursday morning. This poll is voted on by the leagues eight head coaches.
St. Thomas University (STU) Baseball was selected to finish second, behind defending national champions Southeastern. STU earned 43 points and one first plce vote. The Bobcats went 14-10 in Sun Conference play last year and 41-19 overall. Last season finished in the NAIA Opening Round to conference opponent, Webber International, in the championship game of the Miami Gardens bracket.
The 2023 season is set to begin against another conference opponent, Keiser, at home on January 31 with first pitch at 6 p.m.
