Miami Gardens, Fla. – The Sun Conference released its weekly award winners on Monday afternoon, with Payton Bertke from the 10t-ranked St. Thomas Volleyball team garnering Setter of the Week distinction.

Receiving her seventh Setter of the Week honor this season, Bertke averaged 12 assists per set during the Bobcats' 3-0 victory at the New College of Florida which was head coach and recent STU Athletics Hall of Fame member Whitney Battoe's 100th victory.

On the year, Bertke averages 10.92 assists which leads the Sun Conference and ranks fifth nationally.

The Bobcats return to action on Wednesday, Oct. 30 at Florida Memorial with first serve slated for 7 p.m.
