MIAMI GARDENS, Fla. – Continuing to set the standard both in the water and in the classroom, the nationally-ranked St. Thomas Men's and Women's Swimming Teams earned College Swimming and Diving Coaches Association of America (CSCAA) Scholar All-America Team honors for the Spring 2025 semester.
To earn the prestigious recognition, which both programs have received for seven-straight semesters, teams are required to achieve a grade point average above 3.0 for the given semester.
"We are honored by this recognition and grateful for the support of the CSCAA," St. Thomas University's Present David A. Armstrong, J.D. said. "Coach Asadi and the teams are the best examples of kind of people we have at St. Thomas University. This recognition solidifies that STU Swimming & Diving has its priorities straight while also demonstrating athletic prowess in the pool."
Featuring 42 participants, more than double the numbers of all but three of the 16 NAIA Women's teams that received the honor, the Bobcats recorded a 3.55 GPA. The Men also had the most participants with 43, accumulating a 3.18 GPA.
