High-Scoring Season Opener

The Bobcats scored 97 points in their season opener at Fort Lauderdale. It is the most they have scored since December 30, 2025. In the win at Fort Lauderdale, 13 players scored, with three in double digits. Jaliyah Weekes led the way with 18 points off the bench. Diora Ressaissi also had 11 points, and Samantha Bautista had 10 points in the game. As a team, the Bobcats shot 54.2% overall and were 6-for-8 from behind the arc. 

Scouting the Virgin Islands

The Buccaneers will be taking the court in their first official game Saturday. Last season, the Virgin Islands went 2-10 overall, and they were 1-7 on the road. In their South Florida trip last year, they lost to St. Thomas, but they beat Atlantis.
