Strong Stand by 10

In the game last week against SCAD, the Bobcats played strong defensively despite being a man down for 66 minutes. This is due to Maksym Osadchyi being issued a red card in the 24th minute for a tackle. In the shutout draw, the Bobcats' defense was able to stand strong and allow just two shots on goal and seven total shots.

Two of the Best Sun Conference Defenses

Wednesday's match will feature two of the top defenses in The Sun Conference. Southeastern allows the fewest goals in the conference, at 0.93 goals allowed per game. St. Thomas is tied for second in the conference with Keiser, with 1.07 goals allowed per game. Specifically, in Sun Conference matches, St. Thomas is first in the category (0.86 GAA), and Southeastern is second (1.33 GAA).

Shooting the Ball

The Bobcats have 255 shots on the year, which is third in The Sun Conference. When looking at the Sun Conference individual leaderboard for shots, four Bobcats are in the Top 10 in shots per game. Thiago Patto is second with 3.92 shots per game, and Angelo Bernardes is fifth with 3.18 shots per game. Also, Julien Laborde is seventh with 2.86, and Oscar Le Guillou is ninth with 2.82 shots per game.
