New College of Florida Series Recap
The Bobcats split with New College of Florida last week. The Bobcats struggled to generate much offense, scoring just 17 runs over the four-game span. The Bobcats hit .265 on the weekend, with just two extra base hits. Bright spots included
Lester Martinez, who went 3-for-5 with 3 RBI, and
Luis Morera, who went 6-for-15.Â
On the mound,
Gabriel Rangel pitched well in the 7-inning game. He allowed just two unearned runs, with no walks and seven strikeouts in his complete game.

Scouting Webber International
Despite only receiving votes in the Coaches' Poll, analytical rankings like Webber a lot. In RPI, the Warriors are ranked sixth in the NAIA, with the ninth toughest strength of schedule. St. Thomas is just behind, ranked eleventh in RPI and sixth in strength of schedule. The Warriors are very hot as well, entering this series on a 12-game win streak. Those included Sun Conference sweeps of New College of Florida, Ave Maria, and Florida Memorial. Webber is led by seventh-year head coach, Collin Martin.
Webber has had a strong offense, hitting .319 on the year, and .365 in Sun Conference play. They are led by Eastern Michigan transfer Keegan Martin. The Newmarket, Ontario, native is hitting .406 on the season, with 41 walks compared to just 13 strikeouts. Mike Cuello leads the Warriors in home runs, with nine.Â
On the mound, Webber has a 4.57 staff ERA. They have given up 182 walks and struck out 290 batters in 311 innings. Gregory Bori has been one of the better relievers for the Warriors, as he has a 3.34 ERA and 39 strikeouts in 29.2 innings.
