The St. Thomas Lady Bobcats continued their winning ways by sweeping their double header with Ave Maria Saturday. The Bobcats took the first game 7-1, followed by a 6-1 win in game number two. The Bobcats were able to take advantage of seven defensive errors made by Ave Maria in order to win game one. Game two's victory was defined by a six run second inning in which the Bobcats were able to bat around.

The weekend 3-game series with Ave Maria opened Sun Conference play for the Bobcats. The sweep gives the Lady Bobcats the start they were looking for in conference play. The Bobcats will look to continue their four game winning streak when they take the field against Wesley College (DE) next Saturday at 6 PM.
